What is your specialty?
Fit Mind Professional Counseling specializes in working with people who are used to handling everything themselves—professionals, leaders, parents, and other high-responsibility people who are burned out, not sleeping well, struggling with work-life balance, or feeling the effects of chronic stress. Ryan Clark, LPC, CCTP, focuses on practical strategies to help you sleep better, manage stress, strengthen relationships, and address trauma or past experiences that make it hard to slow down or switch off.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. Fit Mind Professional Counseling provides secure online therapy for eligible adults and couples located in Arizona and Ohio. Telehealth services are designed for people seeking practical, evidence-based support for burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, insomnia, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.
Who do you work with?
Ryan Clark works with adults and couples, including professionals, leaders, parents, military members, veterans, first responders, and other high-responsibility people who are accustomed to carrying a lot on their own. Many clients are functioning well on the outside while feeling exhausted, disconnected, overwhelmed, unable to switch off, or stretched too thin between work and home.
Can therapy help with burnout and poor work-life balance?
Yes. Therapy can help identify the patterns, pressures, beliefs, habits, and relationship dynamics that keep burnout going. Treatment may focus on stress regulation, boundaries, sleep, recovery, communication, values, workload, emotional regulation, and practical changes that make high performance more sustainable.
Do you treat insomnia and sleep problems?
Yes. Ryan Clark provides evidence-based treatment for insomnia and sleep problems, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Treatment can address difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, waking too early, racing thoughts at night, irregular sleep patterns, and sleep problems related to stress, burnout, trauma, or anxiety.
Do you provide trauma therapy or EMDR?
Yes. Trauma-focused services may include EMDR, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral approaches, Internal Family Systems-informed work, and other evidence-based strategies. Treatment can address PTSD symptoms, unresolved past experiences, hypervigilance, emotional shutdown, triggers, avoidance, and patterns that make it difficult to relax or feel fully present.
Do you provide couples counseling?
Yes. Fit Mind Professional Counseling works with couples experiencing communication problems, conflict, emotional distance, stress, trust concerns, life transitions, and the impact of demanding careers or family responsibilities. Treatment incorporates practical relationship strategies and Gottman-informed approaches.
What are your therapy fees?
The standard private-pay fee for individual therapy is $140 for a 50-minute session. Couples, extended, and specialty services may have different rates. A limited number of supported-rate appointments may be available. See the Fees & Supported Rates page for current pricing.
Do you offer sliding-scale or reduced-fee therapy?
Yes. A limited number of supported-rate individual therapy appointments may be available at $115 or $90 per 50-minute session. These reduced-fee spaces are intended for clients who would otherwise have difficulty accessing care and are subject to availability.
Do you accept insurance?
Services are offered on a self-pay basis. Clients may ask their insurer about possible out-of-network reimbursement.
How long are sessions?
Most individual sessions are approximately 50 to 60 minutes. Couples, extended, and specialty sessions may vary.
Do you work with veterans and first responders?
Yes. Ryan Clark is a U.S. Air Force veteran with extensive behavioral health experience in military and high-stress settings. Fit Mind Professional Counseling provides therapy for military members, veterans, first responders, and others whose work involves responsibility, pressure, exposure to difficult events, or a strong expectation to keep functioning regardless of stress.
Do you offer free or discounted therapy for military members, veterans, first responders, or their families?
Eligible active-duty service members, veterans, and military family members may qualify for financially supported short-term counseling through the Camaraderie Foundation. Applicants may request Ryan Clark, LPC — Fit Mind Professional Counseling as their preferred provider and should wait for authorization before scheduling funded appointments.
